Started a part time job 2 weeks ago

After being out of work for 6 weeks I excepted a permanent part time position through an agency in an office as an admin assistant.
It is only 20 hours a week, I'm unlikely to offered more and I really need to earn a full time wage.
I saw the invoice from the agency at the end of last week (£840 inc VAT) and I now feel really guilty if in the next couple of weeks I find something else.
What would you do?

There are usually clawback clauses if the person recruited leaves within a short period. But there is nothing to feel guilty about - you must do what you need to do; and if the company suddenly found that they had no need of you, they wouldn't hesitate to dismiss you.0

You have to put yourself first, don't feel guilty if you find something with more hours.0

I wouldn't have accepted it in the first place. 20 hours at not much more than minimum wage isn't enough for me to pay the bills unless of course the job paid me more than £20 per hour which I doubt.
Don't worry about feeling guilty. If they can't take you on for the hours you need to work and you find a full time position before finding another part time position to fit around this one then look after yourself and leave.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I'd look after myself but appreciate it wouldn't make me popular. Forget what you have seen.
The agent might never be able to deal with you or recommend you first for later applications, however much they might agree secretly.
Did nobody express their concerns if you have a full time history? Trying to keep an unaffordable job just gets harder so I personally think best of trying to get out sooner rather then later (I know it's hard to leave somewhere you like but you can get over it, just don't return to a place of work near there and it will be alright) x0 -
the agency could care less about you, so forget worrying about them. they earn more than and off you.0
