Starting to feel exasperated!

Early September must be the last time I comped properly and it's starting to really annoy me that I can't really do it these days. I'm battling to get stable from what my consultant believes is Crohns but me being me I'm not doing it the easy way to get a quick diagnosis, that on top of a cyst on my pituitary gland having had suddenly grown causing major migraines means I can't sit using my laptop and can't look at a screen for long. I made an attempt today to enter competitions finally but it became too much. I was looking forward to the Advents this year but looks like it's a 'No can do' for me. Trying to keep in my head that they will be around next Christmas and I can enjoy doing them when my health finally improves. Think I need to win a nice 5* holiday after all this!

I have Crohn's so I can sympathise. Mine is controlled through diet and steroids. Hopefully yours will become under control very soon too.

If you are suffering from migraines then the last thing you should be doing is straining your eyes by staring at your laptop so why not enjoy the run up to Christmas this year by relaxing, having bubbly baths, watching some good movies, seeing your family and going for nice walks out. Then hopefully next year, you will be fit and healthy enough to enjoy the Advents on here again. Put yourself first and get yourself sorted - many of the Advents this year are offers, tips or small prizes so don't think you are missing out on anything huge!

I was put on a mild steroid but the difference it made was minute and a couple of weeks after stopping I got really bad. Because I have an immune deficiency my consultant wants to make sure absolutely everything else is fully ruled out before giving stronger steroids and an immune suppression drug. I understand where he's coming from, it's just so frustrating now that 14 months later I'm no better than I was when it started. It's taking an impact on other areas of my body too so it needs getting under control and soon!
I didn't have bath for 16 years until the crohns struck, not safe to shower while unstable to had to start having baths, and I realised what I had been missing all those years!!!!! I love a bubble bath now! Because I collapsed in the bathroom my dog no longer lets me in there on my own so I always have her for company in there bless her!
I hope you remain under control and stable, especially over Christmas so you cant enjoy it.

Hannah hope you improve soon and they ca n do something for you.

Adverts have not been that great. Only a few worth the effort. As said above many just offers. Plus site has been very slow today.

Best advice is to take care of yourself.
