County Court Business Centre: Claim Form

Hi all,
In the summer I received a windscreen parking ticket in a hospital car park. I have had the usual numerous letters from UKPC and subsequently Small Claims Solicitors (SCS.) I ignored all of these, however I recently received a claim form from the county court business centre. I had not seen one of these before.
I wondered if anyone else had received this and whether anyone could give advice as to what is the best course of action?
If it makes any difference, the letters are going to the registered keeper of the vehicle but they were not the driver.
Thank you very much.

Go online using the details provided on the form and acknowledge service of the Particulars of Claim only. That will provide you with an additional 14 days in which to respond - and you'll need to see what SCS send you - as they promise.
In the meantime take yourself off to the Newbies thread and have a good read - allow a couple of hours minimum so that you understand what is going on. You might also want to go to Amazon and seek out the Parking Prankster's Guide (cheap as anything). That will give you most of the basics although it is angled towards dealing with ParkingEye not UKPC.
Oh, nearly forgot - http://s1175.photobucket.com/user/CedricOHL/media/Scan_zpsyairz4ha.jpeg.htmlMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
seems to be quite a few of these recently, no doubt brought about whilst they were banned from the DVLA database0
