They lose a lot of flexibility by doing this (full timers I assume don't do much more than just maybe a few hours extra some evenings, rather than come in at short notice to cover for a sick person)
Thanks, that really helps. I think a lot of us are feeling a lot less committed to working extra (particularly longer, in excess of the normal working day) hours. But now you've pointed that out I can at least think about it differently.0 -
