Final settlement success

So, after talking with Lowell, I have managed to settle 4 accounts!
Total debt over 4 accounts totalled £1,862 and I paid and closed all accounts for £350.
Family member recently gave me a lump some to negotiate with them and they played ball. To be fair, Lowell have to be one of the most easiest and friendliest debt collection agencies out there.
Very happy!

Don't think they have suddenly developed a conscience.
The industry had there knuckles rapped by the regulator, ordering them to treat customers more fairly, not to encourage them to make unaffordable payments plans, and to check any full and final settlements made, we're not from further loans.
So well done, but don't thank the DCA, thank the regulator !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
