Transferring part of loan to credit card

Hi all, just been accepted for a 0% balance transfer card for 21 months with halifax 0 fee. I've transferred my santander 123 account card to this which is 1800.
I've got a tesco loan which I'm paying 261 pm off and I've got £3920 left.
It says on halifax that I have 6 months 0% interest on purchases so I assume paying off the loan would count as a purchase and then I'd be charged interest after 6 months?
Just looking for the best way to utilise the 0% but if it's only for 6 months I'd probably only be able to transfer about 1500 to make the payments work.
Any advice? Is it best to leave it as it is?
I can't remember my loan Apr but it's certainly not 0% lol.

Cheers
