According to your other post. You have 3 unsettled defaults. That's your choice and accordingly will impact your options. Some lenders may choose not to lend money to someone who hasn't paid back what they've borrowed previously.

I think it's terrible that the government isn't just paying off these defaults so our OP can get the house they are entitled to
