    How long ago id you complete the training? Have you had an appraisal since, and did you request a pay rise either then, or after finishing the training?

    have you now left, or are you looking at what will happen if you do?

    Always puzzle me these contracts, its 100% tax deductible.

    ... 100% tax deductible does not mean free, the company still loses 80% of the cost of the course (100% less 20% corp tax saving), and any funds they recover will be an income for corp tax, so unless they recover 100% of the cost they will be cash down.

    It should at least be the VAT net amount (assuming they can reclaim VAT and are not a charity/insurance company)
