Skipton Retention Products

Hello all,
So I took out a 2yr fixed term with Skipton via a broker last year.
My deal will be coming to an end shortly and the SVR is 4.99%. The Skipton website says that switching product requires a full telephone review.
So, will this involve credit and affordability checks etc? My broker is now retired. Is this something a broker can do and save me the hassle. Really don't want to go through a load of aggravation of switching to a new lender especially as Skiptons products available are competitive enough.
Thanks is advance

If you don't ring then you'll be stuck on the SVR. Make a phone call and learn more.0
