Hi
First of all has anyone had problems with not being able to access the website recently or not being able to log in?
www.whatsthecost.com
At the beginning of August I did my 1st snowball and said I would be debt free in 42 months. However I did a new one yesterday and I have managed to reduce debts by £600 in 3 weeks :T and changed one of my cards from 19.9% apr to a 2.9% apr and its still calculated debt free date of 42 months.
I thought it would of been reduced.
Any ideas?

They've got an announcement from 22nd August apologising for the recent downtime and hoping it's all OK now.
But I just loaded the site and clicked snowballing and it is VERY VERY slow to load. So maybe they've bigger issues in this section.0 -
What I would do is do the first snowball, then go to "overview" and see the whole thing - go to the last month and see what is left to pay that month. For example, if the first time you do it, you have £800 to pay in the last month, month 42, and you pay off £600, then you will still have 42 months, but to be debt free it will say £200 in that last month's entry.
Print off the whole sheet if you can, then that way you will be able to see where you are, exactly.
Don't be disheartened by it - my DFD has been at 33/34 months now for about 4 months!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
