what do you want for it?:rolleyes:0 -
have you got the receipt? if so - take them back, they'll swap them for you or refund you.
What else where you expecting?0 -
Hi,
My partner bought some baby food that was out of date. She took it back to tesco, complained to the manager and gave her a £10 voucher for the trouble.
I would do the same.0 -
i did not meen it the way it sounded,

i work at tesco on customer services. you can take them back for a refund (with receipt) or exchange them without receipt. previous comment about getting a £10 gift voucher is not guarenteed. its at the managers discretion. you would need to ask to speak to a manager but even then as a said its not guarenteed.0

I would phone your local trading standards office 1st to see if they would like to investigate.
I believe these supermarkets should compensate you when this happens, traveling cost, etc as if trading standards do a spot check the fine for them will be far greater.0 -

I agree, shops should not sell out of date items and would get fined highly by trading standards if it is found out. i would certainly find out the situation from TS before going back to Tesco.**Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!**

Thats really poor merchandising too.
Vitamins & Medicines were re-merchandised about 5 weeks back and dates should have been looked at then.0 -
when i worked in morrisons we got told a store can be fined £10,000 for EACH out of date item they find.
speak to the manager
get yourself a voucher 0 -
remember tho its not illegal to sell a product past best before date unless its not fit for consumption which i suspect will be on them. Selling past a use by date is a different matter.......................0
