This really really annoys me sellers charging almost double for postage to N.I and its really really taken off especially on electrical items and some sellers are just using this as an excuse to get more money, I.E I bought a new Sky box off ebay, postage was a tenner however it was £20 to Northern Ireland and apparantly this guy used a courier but I paid it anyway as it still was cheap, the item arrived a few days later posted via royal mail with the price stuck on it at £8.70 for postage:mad: So some sellers are just using this as an excuse.
Another good one being a small memory card I bought, I mean it was about half the size of a stamp, they charged £3 delivery for UK and £7 for N.I, you could of posted it for less than a quid via Royal mail0 -

I know Couriers do charge more to deliver over here but thats up to the individual seller to state this when they list an item, and many do.
The Channels Islands (And the Isle of Man) are not in or part of the UK.
Citylink as an example charge me an extra £7.50 + VAT to offshore locations including Northern Ireland. Seeing as a link letter or citypack costs under £5 + VAT to send and a 10KG parcel about £6+VAT then its well over double...0 -

Fair enough;) but its the muppets that charge extra and send by Royal mail that seem to annoy us most as there is no extra cost involved to them.
I have got round the initial problem by just having my house number, street, City County and then Postcode on my Ebay address;) Since I have changed it I have not had 1 query from sellers about having to post to Norn Iron:TI am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0
