F&F offer advice- Capquest

Hi all
Have received a letter from Capquest who are now dealing with my Virgin Account stating they are willing to listen to a settlement offer. My initial conversation with them suggests that they would accept 90% of the total balance of 7k, but I think they can do better than that.
Can I ask for your experiences dealing with Capquest in this regard and any advice you would offer in terms of a F&F offer - if of course mum lends me the money!
Thanks

The fact that they have stated they are willing to look at a F&F offer means they are open to suggestions. They are obviously wanting high percentage as they can get, and you want as low as you can get. Pitch it low to start with and I think an agreement somewhere in the middle is likely.0

Hi
A settlement of 90% with a DCA does seem pretty high compared to a lot of settlements discussed on the forum. As "Deleted User" says, make them a lower offer and see how they respond.
