currys delivery dates info??

I ordered an item that was on offer during the bank holiday which with codes etc was reduced more,now not available for delivery and also codes no longer working,but i was able to order it before all that.First order was canceled and tried again the next morning and went ok.
I work away from home two weeks a month and i was not sure what date to have delivered,nearer the time i come back or the the soonest date they could give.
So went for the date closest to me coming back the 10th sept,i come back home probably later in the day on the 11th so even that could be a problem,its an lcd 27",now will they leave this will someone or will they have to have me receive it?
What are my chances of contacting them and getting a date i am in,anyone ordered from currys before and had problems with not being in for delivery.
I have options,hope they leave it with someone.
contact them while i am away and have them deliver a day or so later.
anyone know if its possible to arrange a later delivery date.
