I have bought some software from a Canadian company option to pay with either mastercard or through paypal. Price is in US$.
Whats likely to get me the best exchange rate in sterling I wonder?

Probably Paypal as the card will charge you a transaction fee, there will be little difference in the exchange rate, just the fee charged.0
