Aaargh - of all the days.....

to spill a cup of tea over my laptop
Keyboard completely wrecked - having to do this on hubby's p.c. So much for bookmarking all the Advents etc - probably won't be able to even enter them now. Will have a fiddle tonight - but as out all day tomorrow I am going to be seriously behind icon9.gif

  • Do you have an airing cupboard.....or a (very) huge bag or rice????
My little boy tipped his glass of water on my laptop earlier in the year - ti was very wet and died (but also half broken and old) so I really hope yours comes back to life - its heart breaking!

  • I did what janE1956 said and tipped it upside down in a v shape and tried to get as much liquid out as I could. It actually seems ok, apart from the keyboard which just spouts rubbish :( I hate the virtual keyboard thing but I guess I will have to put up with it for the time being. If all else fails I have a spare keyboard somewhere, might have to plug that in!
