Christmas smell

Options
We don't have a real tree but I love the real tree smell. Has anyone a recommendation for a Christmas smell. I would prefer not to have a candle, and have see Wax Lyrical diffuser " under the tree."

Smells greatly appreciated though not Harpic " pine fresh!"

Not very MSE but very nice and you can get topcashback and usually 15%- 20% off if you sign up to their mailing list but the white company winter scent is beautiful. The room spray lasts me all year and I use it regularly. It doesn't smell of Christmas tree but more a winter spices smell.

Next do a nice fragrance called 'Winter Spruce'

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • if you have an incense burner a firm called alchemyincense sell 2 christmas smelling incenses just waiting for the postman to deliver mine. Silly idea but could you ask a local garden centre if they have any old branches they have cut off that they would be happy to give to you and lay them under your tree

Indeed, depends a bit on your situation but just because you don't have a tree doesn't mean you can't go out an cut some foliage and make an advent wreath, or decorate the top of picture frames, mantelpieces, banisters etc.

Even just combining a vase with some pine branches and holly, or a couple fresh split pine logs into your Christmas decor.

Thank you for your recommendations and ideas. I've actually made door wreaths before, why didn't I think of keeping one indoors this time.

Scentsicles. Can buy online, or in The Range, Wilcos etc. White winter pine I think is the one that smells like xmas trees.

I get a really pretty real pine wreath from Tesco every year, they're only £5.
But yes, making your own is an even cheaper idea!

I sometimes like the smell of 'pine' candles/sprays/scentsicles/etc - but they never actually smell like a tree to me. Maybe my nose is weird.
