Extra cash for xmas

Hello,

My name is Ben. I am self employed as a painter and decorator.

Every year I aim to set aside some of my earnings to cover Christmas and January. Every year I fail and end up stressed due to lack of money etc.

I find myself in the same situation. I have enough work to cover bills and mortage.

Looking for any help and suggestions for earning some extra money.
I've done all of the usual things over the past few year. eBay selling. Phones, CDs etc etc

The main problem I have is time. I work 6-7 days a week 8-5 and then come home to family life.

I'm not expecting something for nothing. Just out of ideas and in need of some help/guidance.

Thanks in advance

Ben

I suppose you are late for this Christmas. If you are short on time, have a look at likes of Leapforce, Appen Hill. However if you are not able to save, doesn't matter how much extra work you an do. You will be in the same position. Perhaps you need to change your attitude to spending. Also, Christmas is unnecessarily expensive time of the year. I don't understand why people insist on buying presents they can't afford. We don't in my family despite being relatively well off.

First 4 topics might be an interest to you.

Appen aren't hiring at the moment - Leapforce and Lionbridge may be.

If you have a look through the threads already on this board there are plenty of guides, but you have left it way too late for this year.

There is a very good blog type website called downthelane , lots of the posts are about getting by when work is not regular etc and I think some of his suggestions would be useful in your situation
