Just out of interest can anyone explain why some people are discharged within 6months and others are not?
I was BR 22/12/2009 (3 weeks to go...) and discharged 22/12/2010 yet I see others discharged in 6 months....just curious.

I don't think you can be discharged early anymore. Certainly I haven't and my BR was very straightforward.0

Correct, the law was changed so anyone who's BR date is Oct 1st 2013 or later can no longer get ED.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks Fermi,
I was wondering why mine took 12months and others 6 months....Mine was in 2009.

It was always a bit random, even when in force. For example I think some offices just did not think it worth the extra admin when they were busy with ongoing aspects of open cases.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
