Hi all,

Can any kind people give me names of good solicitor (or ones to avoid!) in Belfast for a house purchase?

Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

We used John F. Gibbons two years ago, and they were quite good and reasonably priced. He also seems to be on the panel of all the the main lenders.

He was recommended by our Broker, after our initial choice of Solicitor was rejected by the lender.

For the conveyancing on my recent purchase I used Wilson Nesbitt. They are very professional and quoted me a very competitive rate.
You're best to ring round as many as possible to get quotes tbh

We used Millar McCall Wylie on Upper Newtownards Rd, Belfast.

Very good, all costs disclosed up front and available for calls when we really needed them.

They were recommended by our agent.

Another recommendation for JF Gibbons. Used both to buy and recently sell a house
