Hey everyone , I'm new so please be gentle.
Reason I'm posting is due to my ever riding debts...due to various reasons I currently owe council tax £1300, utility's £1000 and water £2000.
Myself and hubby don't get any benefits as just above the threshold. I suffer with severe depression and have let this all just build up. I'm stressed that council tax will take out a liability order and take 18% of wages and that gas/electric will fit a meter etc and I just don't know what to do.
Xmaa is soon and were so skint , I darent tell my oh.
Not really sure what I'm asking really, just felt like getting it all out.
My hubby doesn't deal with the money and if he knew everything wasn't perfect he would go ballistic !

Hi,
Welcome to MSE.
We really need to know why you are in this situation, are you overspending ?, are you paying other debts over essentials ?.
Best place to start is with a SOA, (statement of affairs) link here :

Hi
I agree with sourcrates that posting a statement of affairs is a good place to start so we can get a better understanding of your situation.
With the arrears you’ve mentioned it’s a good idea to contact each organisation and explain that you would like to make an arrangement to catch up. That way they may not feel the need to take further action to recover the money.
