Question about your Credit Score?

Hi Everyone.
I'm about to order my credit score / report online from experian, and I gave a couple of questions for you all if I may?
I'm told your credit score is a figure between 0-1000?
Is a higher or lower figure better?
Does anyone have an idea what the national average credit score is?
Thanks in advance guys!

The figure doesn't matter as it's worthless !! There is NO such thing as a National Credit Score. It's just a marketing gimmick designed to relieve you of a few quid.
Every lender has it's own criteria made up from a multitude of information for accepting/rejecting applicants. A good 'score' and I'm not talking about numbers here does not guarantee any form of credit just as a poor 'score' doesn't mean you won't get credit.
By all means get your credit report from the CRA's but don't pay for the so-called 'score'.0 -
