Facebook Messages - Other Folder No More

I have noticed that the "other folder" where any messages from non friends go is not there any more.

You now have the option of "Recent" "Message Requests" and "More"

If you click the "more" drop down you then have the option of "Unread" "Filtered" and "Archived"

No idea what filtered is supposed to be but I found a message in there from last week for a non-friend plus all the previous messages from non friends seem to be listed in there.

I assume this is now where your previous "other"messages will now go?

Well I didn't from the message in my "filtered" folder. Not even a bracketed number to show one new unread.

I have had 2 notifications about message requests from non-friends contacting about wins. Seems much better.

message requests you do, filtered are where you had a request and chose to ignore it

All messages that used to be found in other are now in filtered. So click on more and then filtered to double check for comp wins. I've found a couple of wins in there since other disappeared so thats obviously where they're going if not in inbox. just check filtered each time you check inbox.
