ooh congrats that's great news. the way you described it i thought it was something down the road rather than an engagement here and now. That's fab. I'm so pleased for you.

Thank you everybody and I am very sorry about any confusion that I may have caused which I will now try and clarify. I did not realise how poorly worded my post was yesterday but I was trying to hurry which never bodes well where I am concerned because I seem to be working even harder than I have ever done before at this moment only I feel like I am kind of sinking underneath it just now. We have discussed our situation at great length and we are both totally certain about how we feel about each other so engagement did seem like the logical next step. However we have decided that a very long engagement is a good plan because everything is so good for us the way that they are so we both see no real reason to change things just for the sake of it if that makes any sense? Our relationship has also developed and became really intense very quickly and although we both think that it will last and stay unchanged forever there is no real need to hurry because we have the rest of our lives to spend together which probably does not make sense to anybody else but it is right for us. So in short yes we are engaged and are planning the rest of our lives together but for now at least nothing is changing and we will continue exactly as we were a week ago. However I do have to gloat just a little bit because the ring is absolutely gorgeous and I cannot stop looking at it. :rotfl:

I have always followed your thread Ciara but havnt posted but I had to today.Congratulations, you deserve this, your life has turned around in the space of a year.If it hadnt have been for your debt problem you may not have met this wonderful man.
