I have just received my application to defer my Erudio student loan. I am currently self employed, I receive working tax credits and I receive some interest every year from an ISA.
I have read the "proof of income" section of the notes. Am I right in saying that I just need to provide them with my Self Assessment Tax Calculation SA302 form and this will provide them with proof for my self employed income, Tax Credits and interest? That is the way I am reading it in the notes but I just want to confirm it?

In theory and as far as the legislation goes, you need only provide evidence of income for the month previous to the month you apply for deferment. So as far as the legislation would be concerned if you provided your bank statement with your 'wage' for that month (i.e the money you pay yourself, tax credits and interest earned) with everything else redacted then you have complied with the legislation to get your deferment...
However, since the government sold on our loans to these *(^%$ they will use all in their power to twist terms and conditions to make the process as frustrating as possible to make you give up and pay up or else slip you up in to making a mistake that can earn them profit.
Be very WARY. Give them only what you have to or feel happy to. Do not sign anything that does not meet the original terms and conditions. They have no right to do a credit search on you (unless you consent) and they have no right to record your loans with CRAs (unless you consent or else they slip you up to default).
I wish you luck
