Completion fees - car finance
Hi,
I bought a car from Evans Halshaw a couple of years ago and have finance with Santander.
I'm nearing the end of the agreement and I'm interested in something the salesman said at the time.
He indicated that if you settle the finance agreement a month early then the £150 completion fee wouldn't be chargeable as the finance term hasn't been 'completed'.
Does anyone know if he was right? Or was he talking rubbish to get the sale?

What does your paperwork say - what kind of finance do you have.0

Don't believe any casual comment made by the salesman. Check your documentation.0

You will still have to pay the fee if you settle early the salesman was "mistaken" either deliberately or through ignorance.0
