Advice re Laredoute sizing

I am looking at mens jeans on the La Redoute site, being a bit short there is very little in leg length 30 inches but lots at 34 inches, leg length not waist size.

Usually a pair of jeans of 34 leg length wouldnt look right turned up to 30 due to the way the leg tapers down, ie too wide, but does anyone know if the jeans they sell are the same as I know french sizing can sometimes be different.
