I was wondering if anyone can help me......
..........I want to get our friend a notebook and pen set gifted boxed but i'm having such a hard time finding a nice one that is reasonable priced.............I would be most grateful for any help :A

What's your budget?. I bought some pen sets earlier this year in the Boots 70% off sale. Have you had a look to see if they have anything in their current 3 4 2 range? You'd easily pick up a notepad in one of the stationery stores. At the budget end they often have pen sets in Home Bargains.

the friend that i'm buying for is a really good close friend so I was thinking of a budget of up to £40, I really wanted to get him a really lovely boxed set........I haven't looked on boots but I will in a minute :T thank you and any help is most helpful x

In that case have you looked in any jewellery shops? My DH loves Cross pens/pencils and I've bought him items for less than that before.

Lovely moleskin notepads, and posh pens.

tkmaxx have moleskin journals and cross pen sets, the cross pen and pencil sets are 16.99 that includes a pen and a pencil with an RRP of £60 and i think the journals are under a tenner

moleskin journals and planners are fantastic. I also second the cross pens as my dad and husband adore them and will have nothing else
