Buy a Tag Heuer

Hi,
I'm after a specific Tag Heuer watch as a 21st B'day present. I've contacted the outlet in Bicester (which is a fair distance away from me), but they're not willing to discuss prices with me over the phone, or indeed whether they even stock this model. It's a bit pointless me driving all the way up there to find that a Kirium model isn't even stocked.

Has anyone made a purchase from Bicester outlet and, if so, what sort of savings are they offering? RRP of this watch is well of £1k, which is think is waaaay too steep.

Ta,
Jon.

An old colleague of mine purchased a Tag from the Goldsmith's shop at the Swindon MacArthur Glen outlet and was very pleased with both the watch and the service. Perhaps you could try giving them a call? Perhaps if you start by asking what they have in stock for Tag they may be more open to discussing rough prices?

I remember my friend wanted to buy a very expensive Tag for his birthday. He ended up going to Switzerland to buy it. Went with Easyjet. Watch + flight, accomodation, etc was cheaper than if he had bought it in the UK.

Have a look on e-bay .com and e-bay .co.uk this will at least give you an indication of the prices in the real world if nothing else.

My husband bought one off a street seller during a break we had in New York a couple of years ago. He didn't know what price they were supposed to be and it cost him 12 dollars! We also didn't know you weren't supposed to bring this type of thing back into the UK! :-[

However, whilst we were at the airport we looked at these in a jewellery store and saw that they were between £1,000 and £1,500!!! :o

    Very expensive!!!

Yes real ones are £1000-1500, your husbands one cost a lot less to make than $12. Also buying fake merchandise helps to finance organised crime and terrorism.
    Nice to save.

i have been to Bicester to look at the Tag shop, they offered good savings up to about 400 off whilst i was there. but it really is a see what they have got and thats it.

having got 3 i would say that it is money well spent and there are stores offering interest free on them.
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

hiya I bought my Tag from The tag shop in Bicester.
It was half price at 499 from 999.

Usually a good selection but with everything at bicester it what stock they have in.

As youre after a particualr model- I too ws in thsi situation last year, i did this-

The tag is my day to day watch and i bought a Rado as a dress watch. i got this from the Airport in terminal 4 at heathrow from Gassan.

All their watches were 20 % off as no VAT. With flights as low as 1 pound plus taxes go for a weekend away in edinburgh/dublin/glasgow using the cheapest flight you can find.

The watch shop i dealt with specially ordered the Rado His and her watches in from switzerland and delivered to my house. If you want deatils of the shop i dealt with ican dig out the receipt and give you the managers name and conatc number
