Hello all,
After finding this, it's made me feel slightly more relieved.
Anyway, I have been very foolish, I've accumulated 2600 worth of debt, of which have gone to collection agencies, and one of which has become a CCJ.
I've set up payment plans to eradicate this, it sounds more difficult than it is to do.
Learning to control your money is key. Will my credit rebuild it's self once those things have been paid off, fully satisfied with the use of direct debits etc?
Thank you.
Foolish man.

Defaults stay on your file for 6 years, then they vanish, any account subject to a CCJ will be on your file for 6 years from date of judgement, then will be gone satisfied or not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. After six years all your sins are forgiven, and you can then get yourself into even more debt, again !!!
Good luck with that !!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Wish I had just fixed all this sooner rather than later.
They certainly don't just " disappear "0 -
I don't want to get myself into anymore issues thats for sure.
Knowing that I would be able apply for a Mortgage etc is helpful.
Thank you.0
