Charging Order Npower

Could I just ask for some advice. Wilkin Chapman have applied for a charging order for Npower Debt of £920

- I jointly own the house
- We still have 1/3 to pay mortage

Can they apply for sale of the house?

No they can't, as long as the debt is only in your name, an order for sale is very rare, and as your house is jointly owned they can only register a restriction, basically that will only be a problem should you want to sell the house in the future, but even then there is no obligation to settle the restriction first, so all a bit pointless really !!!!
