de moulding a bathroom

We live in a rented accommodation. We have a bathroom with poor ventilation, despite having an extractor fan black mold tends to grow on the tiles and grouting. I have tried several methods of removing it, the only thing that seems to work is bleach. The trouble is using bleach gives me and my daughter horrible headaches. I tried the parazone lavender bleach last time but still got a headache. Can anyone recommend a scented bleach that doesn't smell of bleach?

Bleach isn't recommended for removing mould, it tends to encourage it. You might want to buy a proprietary mould killing product and use as per the manufacturer's instructions, it's the only thing which really works.
To help reduce the problem, buy a window squeegie and use it to squeegie water off the tiles once finished with showering, and to also have microfibre cloths which you mop down walls and the bath/ basin and tiles with, the idea being to reduce the amount of moisture in the room.
The cloths shouldn't be left inside the room to dry out. The water has to go somewhere and, if the ventilation is poor, it will struggle to cope with the amount of water produced in the room. HTH.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
