Anyone know if it is worth it? I head Dyson build quality has gone downhill in recent times?
Thoughts appreciated.

Sorry I have only just seen this thread.
I am a dyson fan myself and have always been faithful to the brand.
I absolutely love my DC50 and highly recommend it. Some reviews say it is difficult to push and it is, what they don't say is that if you reduce the depth of the brush bar (one flick of a switch) it is easy.
It really is a fantastic vac. I paid £400 for mine and have no regrets whatsoever.
I have animals who shed a lot unfortunately, but the DC50 soon cleans the hair up.0
