£10 Real 6 feet high Christmas Trees

I received a mailer in the post today for JTF (my nearest store is Lincoln but they have some others) and they are selling 6 feet high real Nordmann Fir Chistmas trees for only £10! I have seen B&Q selling 5 foot trees for £15 and I know Ikea have the £25 trees with £20 voucher but £10 is a bargain!
Has anyone seen a better deal, or is this the cheapest around? Don't normally buy a tree until 2nd week of December to make sure it lasts but may have to get one this weekend at this price, I think I paid about £30 last year!

I am guessing that if you buy it this weekend you will have a stick left by Christmas or at least a very very sparse tree.

Is it cut or potted with the roots intact? If potted I would be tempted to buy and re-plant in the garden.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

They have 6 feet cut Christmas trees and also 4 feet potted trees with roots, both are £9.99
Could stock up on potted trees and grow them in the garden for the next few years!0 -
If firs are watered they last well. I always got mine on 1st Dec and didnt have a problem.0

rooted trees very rarely last once replanted, they tend to be cut with a very small root ball and that combined with the shock of being up-rooted and then a spell indoors before being put out into the garden is all too much for them.
At a tenner I would say it is worth a punt but a bit of internet research may help your tree survive a little longer0
