Need a Shrug

  • Hiya.
I was desperate for a shrug too, as I needed it to go with my frock for my best friend's wedding. I bought one from Peacocks for £5 on Weds and got lots of complements at the reception yesterday. They had them in red and black, up to size 20. They also had cream crochet type shrugs too. Hope this helps. Have a lovely holiday!

Sainsbury's had shrugs too - and short cardigans - about £8 to £10 each - I seen them after I had bought and wore one from Monsoon at £36.....

Right just got back from the high street, thick ones in Peacocks were no good. Monsoon had new stock in and they were sparkly shrugs and Sainsburys did not have any. MInd you it only has a small range of clothing. Tried all the online catalogues and they do a black and coral two pack. Coral wouldnt suit me. In fact I would prefer two shrugs a light blue one and a white one. Although either would do. I would have a black one if push came to shove but I want a cotton or viscose one if poss - I know Im a fussy Cow.

  • Hi, theres quite a few on www.laredoute.co.uk
I just put shrug in the search box and about 22 appeared.
  • Just to let you all know I followed the advice up and unfortunately, I have not bought a shrug. I am still looking.

i had the same problem ,i needed a black one to go with a dress.
After trawling the shops ,i found a couple, Quiz Clothing had a couple of different styles ,but i ended up getting one from Select, who also had a couple of different styles ,I was only looking for black but i noticed a silvery one in select.

These shops are not some where i would normally shop, but I must say the ones i looked at were good quality, and they were all under £18.
    hth boots

also noticed a white crocheted one in Mark one,i think they had a gold one the same style too.
New look had some jersey(t shirt type material) short sleeved white and black too
