Hello!
I'm really needing some help. At present I work 9-5 Mon-Fri £14k for my current office role. I have been studying and training to become a freelance dance teacher in my own time.
I'm looking to start working after my certifications this next year, about 3-4 hours per week and would be about £40-£50 a week. I also claim tax credits.
In terms of tax and reporting these earnings, I honestly have no idea what I'm doing and no idea where to start AT ALL. This is why I'm here
I've never had a second job before never mind having to deal with managing the tax etc.
I need basic terms help really. I am going in completely blind here. Thank you for any help!

Have a look at the first post in the mystery shopping thread, on the 'boost your income' board. Plenty of advice there! (Start reading where it says 'Registering for tax')Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
