Can anyone help with an AOE?

Hi,

I have an 'attachment of earnings' order on my wages each month for £20 but the thing is, I have no clue who to! When it came on in 2013, I was told who it was for etc but since then I've forgotten and don't have a clue who it was for/how much etc. I want to know when it will be paid off in full so how would I find this out?

Many Thanks!

Your employer should have a record of who they are paying.

The court that dealt with it will have a record of who the creditor is, but may need the reference.

If the judgement was obtained less than 6 years ago, the court and reference will show on your credit file.

Okay thanks! If my employer has a record does this mean that they know how much is to be paid and the payments will stop as soon as it is paid in full? I've got this weird paranoia that the company just hasn't told my employer it's finished and will keep taking £20 for the rest of my working life haha

Hopefully, yes, but you should ask the question.
