I can log in (via the experian verify), but I was initially verified last week.

Hopefully someone who verified today for the first time will post up their experience.

I verified yesterday, all very simple, my records seem accurate and compare with a paper based forecast I ordered earlier this year. Even got a reply today from my feedback.

    Cheers fj
  • I also verified yesterday through experian, very simple. Found out that I have an extra £2.50 per week extra to what I thought. Must have been through student jobs 30+ years ago as have been contracted out since 1984.

There may be some benefit to paying voluntary contributions after April 2016 (if you cease getting carer's credits) as it could add another 4 or 5 chunks of £4.32 to your starting amount which sounds like it will be around £123pw as you say.

It will obviously depend on whether class 3 contributions remain a good deal for people in reasonable health.
Surprisingly, class 3 will cost the same after April 2016! See section 6 of:

Ive verified today (via the post office) which took ages as despite me saying initially I had no photoID driving license it still insisted on having one.

Anyway having spent over an hour verifying, the main site just seems to crash " Sorry, our service is currently unavailable. We are working to restore the service as soon as possible."

Anyone else having any luck today?
  • Verified for both me and my wife and we checked both out - worked fine. 5.5 years to go - let's hope it all stays as is and we actually get the money.

Verified today with Experian and had no problem. Seem to have more than I was expecting/hoping for as I have definitely contracted out so will keep up with other future plans/investments just in case....
