Once upon a time un petit garcon called Olivier Baussan spent his childhood in Haute Provence, where when the lavender is in bloom, the earth looks as if it were mirroring the blueness of the sky. It was a time to reflect on the glory of summer as the Contadour Mountain is covered with blossoming fields. If he closed his eyes he could smell the sweet heady scent of the flowers that even the bees can’t resist.
Olivier grew up to be the founder of skin care brand L’Occitane which includes the purifying lavender collection, which we believe should be intrinsic to any beauty regime.
