G24 Parking Charge Notice

Woady
Hi All,
Sorry to have to create a new thread on what has probably been asked before, but I have read the newbie sticky and also searched through the forum but can't seem to find an answer to what is probably a very simple question.
My partner received a parking charge notice from G24 through the post for exceeding the allowed time in a free car park. As G24 is not (I think) an AOS member, does this mean that there is no point in requesting a POPLA code?
Also, I would obviously like to send an email to G24 telling them to cancel the parking notice however the template letter in the newbie thread mentions requesting a popla code, is this the right template to use for G24 or have I missing something?
I have emailed B&M direct asking them to cancel it but they have washed their hands of the notice and claim that they have no contact with G24 whatsoever.
Sorry for being another one of the many that create new threads, but I really have tried to work my way through the sticky and search other threads but I find it all a bit confusing with different advice for different types or parking tickets etc
Cheers for any help

G24 are AOS members, but not of the BPA, rather they are IPC AOS members whose version of POPLA is the IAS.
Send the appeal minus this bit:You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.
No appeal to the PPC is likely to get a cancellation - but you at least have gone through the process of an initial appeal. There's not much prospect of winning at the IAS either, but you need to decide, after weighing the advice about IAS appeals given in post #3, whether to appeal to them or not.
A bit of analysis of G24 is given here:
http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/G24.html
The bottom line is there is no easy route to kill this off if you can't get a landowner cancellation. While they have 6 years to pursue this there is no record of G24 issuing court papers. Neither is there any record of anybody having problems beyond (powerless) debt collector letters by not paying G24.
HTHPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

G24 are IPC members, so no POPLA available to you. They offer the IAS, which is a kangaroo court. See the newbies thread at the top of this forum.Bournemouth - home of the Mighty Cherries0

G24 are a joke - very unlikely to do court. Wouldn't worry too much about them.0

Welcome to the world of Debt Recovery Plus in 2016. Enjoy laughing at the letter chain shown in post #4 of the NEWBIES thread. We don't want to see those letters or hear about them ever again - please - but there are zillions of threads here and results on Google for you.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
