So, I ordered a £10 toolbox from amazon using next day delivery came today via DPD, no sign of damage etc. Opened up cardboard box no invoice but still brown package paper to protect item. No plastic cover etc on toolbox (may not have meant to be any) opened box up using the clasps on box (which were closed-no sign of damage) to discovery an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB in the cellophane etc as if you had literally bought it! As I say no invoice very unusual in that aspect (I use amazon ALOT!!!)
Thinking in warehouse a worker put the iPhone in the toolbox to collect for themselves at the end of their working day- on the sly of course.

What would you do?

contact Amazon and tell them , once this is spotted as "missing" from stock it will get IMEI blocked and stop working


be prepared that someone MAY contact you claiming to be from Amazon or the delivery company about the Iphone that was "sent in error" . Tell them its already been returned via Amazon Lockers.


it may be an insider job where the stolen items are slipped in packages like yours and then collected

You have a good point there, especially as my invoice wasn't in there! Does anyone know if theres your phone number on them?? Especially as mine is *missing* your thoughts may be kinda true.

I had an Amazon order arrive this morning with no invoice etc, don't think they're always included now - or maybe they're just not if the order's beneath a certain value?

I'd say about 1 out of my previous 20 orders has come with an invoice.
