Daily mags - can't play ads

As if I actually want to watch them, LOL. But you have to play them in order to enter the comps; as many of you know, they switched from print ads to videos a few days ago.
I have the comps I want to enter bookmarked in Chrome. Normally I have Ad Blocker running, but even when I disable it for a site, the ads still won't play. Any ideas what I can try?

Good Housekeeping is the only one that gives me major issues.
According to one of the comments on the other threads it may be an issue with the last Shockwave update.

I use firefox for the mag dailies and it skips all the adds for you.I do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus0

do you have adblock turned on, I used to find that skipped the ads but then it started sitting on the ad pageproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0
