Lease Car mileage Tax relief

in Cutting tax
Hi, just asking for a little advice?
I've currently got a lease car through the NHS salary sacrifice scheme.
For business mileage I'm currently paid 45p per mile (up to first 3,500 miles)
I've tried to read other topics, but am a little confused.
Is it possible to claim tax relief on the business mileage?

How can you claim tax relief on something your employer is paying you free of tax ?0

Business rate is 45p per mile for the first 10,000 , which is what your employer pays you , so no, you cannot claim any more.0

Is it possible that the op is paid less than 45p on miles 3501-10000 and wants to claim tax relief on the difference?0

Thanks for the replies, I didn't think I could. Although it was a matter of debate at work.0
