Although Book People do sometimes have some great books at great prices, I'm afraid they now have so many 'Flash Sales' that I just ignore them - much as I do companies like DFS and, increasingly, M&S.

Although I now find it possible to go through the whole Oxford St store without buying a single thing.

I'd rather buy good quality merchandise from the chaz.

An email this morning abou the Book People flash sale tells me that they have a collection of ten Ian Rankin books for £9.99 - this is the price they usually sell that set.

However, the warehouse sales that they have about three times a year are great value. I did quite a bit of Christmas shopping in the last two that were held at Haydock.
