Call from Bon Accord Life?? bizarre-anyone else?

Just had a call from Bon Accord Life confirming my entry to the Hoverboard competition, on Facebook, asking if the phone number was correct & telling me to keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates
Never had anything like this?
Thought it was marketing call at first, but she didn't ask any questions?
Did anyone else get a call?

They will be calling to confirm you have a valid phone number so they can bombard you in the coming days/weeks/months with marketing calls

They were calling me all last week trying to sell me life insurance after I entered one of their facebook competitions. I blocked their number after the 9th call

Same thing happened to me. Prepare yourself to get a call from them every single day. Had to block their number.

If you block the number then you miss out if you win so there is no point in entering.

also had a call and then the repeat phone calls even through I told them that I had life insurance. they then tired to sell me life insurance for my daughter even after I told her she had limited life expectancy. which is ironic in itself.
