JSA ending before NEA starting rules

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could help (I'm new to the site) I am on JSA (Contribution based) and I will not be entitled to the Income based JSA from early January.
I have spoken to my Jobcentre Advisor today to be put forward to join the NEA Scheme. I am now awaiting a letter and an appointment to see the NEA Advisor and I am told this could take 2-3 weeks. After that I am to produce a business plan. However, due to the Christmas holidays and the NEA Advisors schedule, this could take me over my 182 days allowance for JSA.
What I need to know is will I still be eligible for the NEA Scheme if my JSA has ended prior to being accepted onto the NEA Scheme?
I am unable to do anything about the time scale of signing off, that will be down to the NEA advisor and when the Jobcentre Advisor completes their paperwork.
If I continue to sign on 2 weekly for my NI Contributions and no payment, I am still classed as being on JSA?
Any advice would be appreciated. I cannot find anything relating to this in the eligibility rules.
Thank you.

Yes, you will be eligible when your JSA is on a credits only basis.
I can't link to it but Google "new enterprise allowance" "credits only" and you'll find the provider guidance that confirms the above.0 -
Thank you very much for your help, I will take a look at it now.:T0
