Nails turning yellow.

Hello all
I have a bit of an issue with my nails turning a slight yellow color on the top half.
I assume this is because I wear nail varnish. I change my nail varnish every 1-2 weeks and I do use an acetone free nail varnish remover when I do..
But does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this? I don't really want to stop wearing nail varnish
Also, I am a non smoker so it isn't that
Thanks!

You need to take breaks between wearing nail varnish for this to clear up - so a couple of days a week when your nails are bare. This is good 'hygiene' advice anyway since you're much more vulnerable to fungal infections on nails if you wear nail varnish all the time. I used to always wear it on my toes until I ended up with an infection. Now I only really wear it in sandal weather and that's helped keep everything nice and clear (sandal weather being max 4 months a year in Ireland lol!)0

Using lighter colours helps it happening in the first place too. Red is the absolute worst for yellowing.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Do you use a Base Coat? If not that could also caught yellowing of the nails.0

Assuming you aren't a smoker, as suggested do not wear nail varnish for long periods of time. Use a base coat too.ally.0

Gently buff it off with a pink rectangular buffer, costs about a pound
