Vacuum belt keeps coming off, anyway to hold it in place.

The one it came with was wider but not as thick so only lasted till it rolled over a wire and burned out. replacements are better quality but as they are not as wide they keep falling off whenever I lift the vacuum when in use.
I assume I need something to stop if falling off the gap where it hooks onto?

Have you tried looking a you tube - lots of films about fixing a vacuum belt; might be best if you search for the specific model that you have. Good luck

Do you mean how to fit it or how to stop it falling off? I can get it onto the belt the correct way the issue is it comes loose anyway as its a little smaller than the original belt.0
