next november I will receive my state pension.
it will be another 7 years before my wife will get hers.
on the old system you use to get a joint pension.
does this still apply to the new one or will my wife gets her own?

No such thing as a joint pension. You each will get your own based on your individual contribution records.0

I hope you realise your wife will not be getting her state pension at 60 years old.
I'm just saying this
S because you didn't know about joint pensions ending a while ago.

You could both contact the DWP and get pension forecasts.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
And if either of you have missing years, you can make plans to make this up/0

No, it was possible for one to claim a Category B pension on the other's contribution record but each person received his/her own pension.
You and your wife both become eligible for state pension in the new scheme. See Scenario 3 page 15 - the New State Pension starts 6.4.2016.

You should each obtain a state pension statement.
