Invoice on delivery?

Anyone know what exactly this means? Will I need to stay at home waiting for the delivery to pay? Or does it mean an invoice will come with the item?

I take it that the invoice will be delivered along with the item.

So does that mean I pay on delivery or do i get the invoice and can then pay later like online?

Pay later, usually invoices say something like


Payment is due within 7 days on receipt of invoice ( or 30 days)


This presumably saves them postage and also people delaying payment and saying we didn't receive the invoice lol
